Principal Engineer
Katy conducts multi-media environmental compliance assessments, environmental permitting, air quality engineering, site assessments, site characterizations and site remediation.
She has successfully worked with various institutional clients including hospitals, educational institutions, maintenance facilities, and a number of industrial facilities including wood priming and painting, chemical manufacturing, structural steel manufacturing, hi-tech manufacturers, and food production.
Over the past 20 years, Katy has successfully assisted her clients with obtaining required federal and state permits including stormwater discharge permits, industrial wastewater permits, Title V air permits, and State Permit to Operate air permits by assessing rule applicability and negotiating with regulators to minimize often burdensome recordkeeping and reporting requirements. She also assists facilities with interpretation of complex requirements and prepares best practice procedures to ensure continuing compliance or improve existing management systems.
Katy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, is a registered Professional Engineer in New Hampshire, and is a New Hampshire Certified Hazardous Waste Coordinator.
