Richard Kowalski, PG, LSP
Director of Hydrogeology
Rick has more than 35 years of experience in environmental consulting, including management of projects involving the assessment and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, tank removal observation and soil excavations.
His know-how includes the preparation of site investigation reports and feasibility studies, and the design, implementation and operation of soil and groundwater remediation systems.
Additionally, Rick’s expertise includes the delineation of contaminant migration through fractured bedrock and the interpretation of hydrogeologic data and models. He also has experience providing litigation support and expert witness testimony.
Rick has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Water Quality Monitoring from Ulster County Community College, and Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in Geology from the University of Rhode Island.
He is a certified Hazardous Materials Manager, a Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts and a registered Professional Geologist in New Hampshire.
